After graduating from Akdeniz University with a degree in Aquaculture Engineering, he pursued further studies, earning both a master's and a doctorate in Fisheries Technologies. From 2011 to 2019, he held the position of Research Assistant at Akdeniz University, Faculty of Fisheries. His research focuses on fishing technologies, fisheries biology, population dynamics, marine biology, and ecology. Currently, he is pursuing his second doctorate in Acoustic Tagging at Ege University. Additionally, he serves as a Scientific Monitoring Coordinator and Board Member at the Mediterranean Conservation Society.
