Boosting Climate Change Resilience in Gokova Bay Marine Protected Area has been chosen as one of the exemplary projects of the UNESCO Green Citizens campaign. We are delighted to become the first project from Turkey to be selected. The Unesco Green Citizens campaign was born out of the idea that climate action needs to take inspiration from the ground. Across the globe, a multitude of local and international projects are drawing on the energy and determination of citizens to bring about positive change for nature. UNESCO Green Citizens supports citizen projects like Gokova Bay around the world.
