On World Oceans Day, celebrated to raise awareness about the importance of oceans and the actions needed for their conservation, an underwater clean-up was organized in the Datça Topan Ada region with the participation of volunteer divers from the Mediterranean Conservation Society and Uçanbalık Diving Center. Some of the waste items, retrieved by professional divers from depths of 30-35 meters, were separated by the Datça Municipality and exhibited in front of the Datça Port Exhibition Hall to draw attention to marine pollution.
