Field Manager Position Open at Datça Office! Calling all passionate advocates for the sea and nature!

Mediterranean Conservation Society is seeking a Field Support Assistant to join our team at the Datça office. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing our conservation projects in Datça-Bozburun SEPA.

Position: Datça – Bozburun Field Support Assistant

Expectations:

● Holds a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree,

● Proficient in spoken and written English, able to use English effectively in a professional setting,

● Resides in Datça,

● Has experience in national or international projects within civil society, public, or private sectors,

● Available for full-time work,

● Knowledgeable and experienced in planning, coordinating, and reporting on projects and events,

● Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications effectively,

● Preferably has voluntary or professional experience in nature conservation,

● Preferably has volunteered in the civil society field,

● Looking for candidates who are flexible in taking on responsibilities beyond their role and willing to support other units within the Association.

Responsibilities:

● Plan and execute project activities, providing regular updates to the project management department and other team members,

● Prepare and deliver internal and donor-oriented reports for the work packages under their responsibility in a timely and regular manner,

● Organize and report meetings and events related to the projects,

● Represent the Association in city or out-of-town meetings when assigned,

● Ensure the realization of project activities and the achievement of project goals,

● Be responsible for the smooth running of tasks at the assigned office and fulfill related administrative duties,

● Implement project outputs according to the project plan for the assigned projects,

● Manage stakeholder relations in the field and oversee relationships,

● Attend relevant local and regional meetings on the conservation and management of natural resources in project implementation areas, follow the agenda, and inform the department coordinator,

● Provide logistical and other support to team members in carrying out project activities in the field.
